A 72-year-old woman who won the lottery for 12 million baht but will continue to sell rice cakes

A 72-year-old Thai grandmother won 12 million baht in the Thai lottery on February 16


Although he became rich, he revealed that he will continue to work selling traditional Thai rice cakes.

The 12 million baht lottery ticket was won by an old woman named Phat Pila Chan from the Attaradis district in

northern Thailand.



While selling rice cakes in Khon Nai Market, Mueang District, an old grandmother danced and screamed for joy

when she found out that she had won the lottery when the vendors next to her started playing the lottery.

The old lady went to the lottery shop in the market where she was selling because she was nervous the morning of the lottery and won 12 million baht.

His grandson’s 25th birthday fell on February 17th, so he got lucky while looking for a number ending in 17.

He happily said that he will continue to do this job as he has fed his family by making and selling traditional Thai rice cakes.

“Currently, my beloved sons, I will bring all the grandchildren home. All relatives are in Bangkok. First, I will pay off my debts.

After that, I have to rent a shop in the market for the rest of my life and sell rice bread, so I will buy my own and continue doing this work.

I’ve been supporting my family with this job all my life, so I can’t give up my job as a market seller.

I will divide this money among all the children,” said the grandmother happily.

Among the Thai lottery numbers released on the 16th, there were still 17 people who won 42 million baht

The local media also said that the award has not yet been announced.
