The man who accidentally bought (2) lottery tickets with the same number and won (2) big lottery prizes.

Scotty Thomas, a man from North Carolina, bought a ticket from the Lucky for Life lottery or not.

Uncertain, I filled out another online form and purchased. I bought the lottery ticket with the same number (2) times, so I won (2) the big lottery prize.

“I was lying on the bed watching a basketball game on TV. I did not remember whether I filled out the online form and purchased the lottery ticket or not.

So I filled out the online form again.

My son asked the next morning.

Why are there 2 different amounts in the list? “I realized, ‘I’ve filled it twice,'” Scotty Thomas said.

On the day of the lottery on November 27th, Thomas won two (2) lottery tickets by accident, earning $25,000 a year with each lottery ticket.

The prize is the second largest prize in the Lucky for Life lottery.

“When I found out I had won the lottery, I was in disbelief and fell on the floor. This is a blessing,” Thomas said.

Thomas didn’t want to make any annual payments, so he opted to take the $780,000 lump sum for both tickets.

After taxes, he netted just $551,851.

He wants to invest his lottery winnings in his business, pay the bills and help his family. Thomas said he also wants to buy a house.
