RFA’s source close to the NLD confirmed that U Win Myint was transferred to Taung Ngu Prison on January 14th.

A person close to President U Win Myint’s legal team said that he only knew that he was in Naypyitaw until January 16 because he only sent the letter to a police station in Nay Pyi Taw that was set to send the letter to U Win Myint until January 16.
